Update 10\/12\/2024<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In April 2024, we announced our goals for waste reduction and energy production. Today, we are proud to share the achievements we\u2019ve made!<\/p>\n

We aimed to reduce waste by 15% compared to 2023. Thanks to consistent dedication, we surpassed all expectations: the reduction reached 20%!<\/p>\n

Regarding energy production, the target was set at 28%. As of today, we\u2019ve achieved 25%. While we haven\u2019t fully reached the target yet, we\u2019re proud to have improved the 2023 results by 4%.<\/p>\n

April 2024<\/h3>\n

While global attention is increasingly focused on the importance of reducing environmental impact, at Ecopack we are proving that it is possible to achieve significant results through concrete actions.<\/p>\n

In 2023, in this article<\/a>, we set a goal to reduce our waste by 50%: after a series of improvements and actions implemented over 10 months, we ended the year with a 54% reduction in municipal waste compared to 2022.<\/p>\n

But the progress does not stop there.<\/p>\n

The 2024 targets: Municipal waste<\/h3>\n

Thanks to an ongoing commitment to sustainability, we improved our performance in the first quarter of 2024, further reducing waste and achieving a 56% reduction compared to the same period in 2023.
\nThis result allows us to give ourselves an even more ambitious target for 2024: an overall reduction of 15% compared to the previous year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Energy self-sufficiency<\/h3>\n

Ecopack is not just about improving municipal waste management, but has also taken a proactive approach to sustainable energy: in 2023, 21% of the company’s electricity needs were produced by the photovoltaic plant.<\/p>\n

For 2024, we have even higher ambitions: with the help of a new ground-mounted plant, the company aims to self-produce 28% of its total electricity needs by the end of the year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This will represent a further step towards energy self-sufficiency and a significant reduction in carbon emissions.
\nThese results reflect a tangible commitment to sustainability: Ecopack is committed to continuing to adopt increasingly sustainable practices, thus contributing to a better future for all.<\/p>\n
