What is the United Nations Global Compact?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Launched in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact is the world\u2019s largest strategic corporate citizenship initiative. For over 20 years, it has aimed to promote a sustainable economy that respects human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and the fight against corruption.<\/p>\n

The initiative was conceived by then-UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, who called on companies to contribute to a fairer and more inclusive globalization.<\/p>\n

The Global Compact is based on ten principles derived from major international documents, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the United Nations Convention against Corruption. These principles cover four key areas:<\/p>\n
