Are Ecopack paper molds suitable for automatic production lines?

Yes, all Ecopack products are designed for use on high-speed automatic production lines. Their self-supporting structure ensures stability during filling, proofing, baking, and packaging, reducing waste and inefficiencies.

Do I need to use support trays?

In most cases, no. Our molds are self-supporting. However, some of our products are not self-supporting and require a support tray (check the specifications table on the product page).

Do the molds need to be greased before use?

Generally, no. Our paper ensures optimal release of the product, but it’s important to note that each product should be tested for its specific recipe.

Are your molds greaseproof?
Yes, Ecopack molds are made with specially treated paper to ensure greaseproof properties. This means they resist the penetration of fats and oils present in doughs, ensuring better retention during baking, cleaner release of the finished product, and optimal visual results even with rich, buttery preparations.

Are the molds suitable for all types of ovens?

Yes, our products are compatible with conventional, convection, and tunnel ovens, ensuring consistent performance even during extended baking cycles.
The materials used are also suitable for use in microwave ovens and air fryers.

What is the temperature resistance?

Ecopack molds are designed to withstand the temperatures typical of industrial baking and pastry production, maintaining structural integrity and food safety throughout the baking process: from -18°C to 220°C.

Our products are suitable for both freezing and blast chilling, without any loss of performance.

Are the molds reusable?

Ecopack products are designed as single-use items to ensure hygiene, food safety, and maximum efficiency in production processes.

Are the products recyclable?

Many of our products are recyclable according to local regulations, to maximize sustainability throughout the entire life cycle: our pie, plumpy, and muffin ranges are CEPI-certified.

Are the inks and adhesives safe for food contact?

Yes, we use food-contact-safe inks and adhesives that comply with European and international regulations.

Do your products contain PFAS?

No, our products are made exclusively with PFAS-free paper.
